Clay tile shape

Roof tiles are more than just protection against wind, snow and rain. They also enhance your home, lift the overall look and form a fifth façade. Our best-selling clay tiles are available in three different profiles – traditional pantile, double pantile and flat. Which you choose is a matter of taste and is largely determined by the overall look of a house.

Clay is a natural product that has been around for thousands of years. While demonstrating the genuine charm of traditional roof tiles, the Bender Lertegel (clay tile) range has the easy to lay characteristics of our concrete roof tiles. Our various clay tiles (Tvilling, Tvilling straight front edge, Hansa, Hansa straight front edge and Piano) are all watertight, easy to lay and good value for money. This is why they are a good choice for those who want that little extra for their house.

If you are looking for something extra special, we can supply “bibersvans” (“beaver tail”), “flachdachziegel” (a traditional German flat tile) and several other clay tiles that also have a more continental look.

Bender Tvilling

CLAY DOUBLE PANTILE

Bender Tvilling, an interlocking clay tile with a rounded front edge, is a newly developed product that makes laying clay tiles even easier. This classic interlocking double-pantile roof tile in a large format simplifies cutting at valleys and hips.

CLAY DOUBLE PANTILE WITH STRAIGHT FRONT EDGE

Bender Tvilling interlocking clay tile with a straight front edge is an alternative to the old, traditional, double-pantile, extruded clay tile. Thanks to its straight front edge, it maintains a classically old-fashioned look. However, it is manufactured as a modern and more functional roof tile in an attractive format.

Bender Hansa

CLAY TRADITIONAL PANTILE

Bender Hansa is an interlocking, clay roof tile with a rounded front edge. It is a modern development of the traditional pantile. Easy to lay, weathertight and economic, it is always an option for anyone who wants that little something extra for their home.

CLAY TRADITIONAL PANTILE WITH STRAIGHT FRONT EDGE

Bender Hansa interlocking clay tile with a straight front edge replaces the market’s old, traditional, extruded 1-barrel clay tiles. Thanks to its straight front edge, it maintains a classically old-fashioned look. However, it is manufactured as a modern and more functional roof tile in an attractive format.

Bender Piano

FLAT CLAY ROOF TILE

Bender Piano is a flat, interlocking clay roof tile with a slate-like appearance that fits well with today’s modern architecture. Piano tiles must be laid with a stretcher (running) bond (i.e. offset in relation to each other). This adds exciting animation to the roof.

Bender Höganäs

CLAY DOUBLE PANTILE

Bender Höganäs is a 2-barrel extruded non interlocking clay tile. Höganäs extruded roof tiles are made of clay and burned in an oven. This means that there can be small variations in color and size, which gives life to the roof.
