After 35 years of close collaboration, Benders has acquired Braås Åkeri AB.
The acquisition, completed at the turn of the year 2024/2025, aims to further strengthen Benders’ value chain—from raw material to finished product delivered to the customer.
The company will continue to operate as an independent corporation under the name Braås Åkeri AB, with Håkan Andersson remaining as CEO.
The haulage company currently operates a modern fleet of 30 lorries, with new vehicles about to arrive.
Through efficient transport planning, the goal is to achieve cost-effective transport solutions with minimal environmental impact. Major investments are planned in environmentally friendly vehicles. In addition to transporting finished products from Benders’ product range, Braås Åkeri AB also delivers aggregates and cement to Benders’ facilities.
