As of 1 January 2025, Benders will become the majority owner of KPAB, Kvänum. As part of this transition, the company will change its name to Benders Dörr AB.
Under the leadership of CEO Peter Wassberg, who has extensive experience in the door industry, the company will now focus on the production of fire-, acoustic- and security doors, with the ambition of becoming one of the leading manufacturers in this segment.
– We see great potential in concentrating entirely on our door manufacturing, especially with the patented solutions we already have within the company, particularly in security doors. Soon, we will also present a broader product range, which will further strengthen Benders Dörr’s customer offering, says Peter Wassberg.
Our goal is to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions that meet our customers’ needs, and we are currently building a new sales organisation, Peter continues.
Significant investments will be made to automate production, increase capacity and improve efficiency. This work will be led by Mats Norin, Senior Advisor and co-owner.
Benders Dörr will primarily target building material retailers and door specialists. Doors are already being exported, and that share is expected to grow.
With this new direction, Benders Dörr looks forward to strengthening its market position and contributing to a safe and secure living environment.
